Dear Customers Who Come To The Lion House

Lion House customers, if you really want to piss off an employee or want to look like a complete moron to an employee here are some things you can do. All of these have been done before....

(Pause because Jude Law is on the TV)

First of all we know perfectly well when there are no rolls in the roll warmer, there are at least 3 other employees who will get on that as soon as they're not busy with other of your customer kin.

Don't tell the cashier what is on your tray, we have served thousands of people before you came, and we are not blind, we can see perfectly what is on your tray and can add it all up on your tab. We are not morons.

There are signs in every room telling you to take your tray to the tray return. You think I'm blind? Well you are either blind or lazy! Unless you can't read English then well...

Jello is Satan's food. If you drop it on the ground we will secretly hate you for the rest of your life.

Children under the age of 7 aren't capable of ordering food, do it for them. You know what they'll eat.

The little green garbage cans by the registers are not for you to put YOUR garbage in. Do you really think it's for your 10 large cups?

(Pause for the eating of the Symphony bar)

You can't save tables, no matter how rich you are.

(Pause Jude Law is such a sexy man)

Please don't come in at 7:59 believing that we are happy that you came in. We have a smile on our face but we really want to punch you.

If we are open at about 10:30 and we ran out of something... well yeah it's 10:30, shoulda come earlier.

I think i may be done. But one last word:

Today! THE DAY!

I'm not gonna lie. These last weeks have sucked, not only because of finals, and work is sucking, and i can't stop thinking about Matt and what is going on, but TODAY DECEMBER 20, twenty-one years ago i was born at LDS hospital!
Now outside of the LDS religion when you turn this age it's quite the ordeal, you can drink, and gamble, and all of thee above. But for me nothing has really changed. Sure I can legally go into a bar and a casino, but i wouldn't do anything.
So instead i woke up, worked but, and had to get a new birth certificate, which i walked into the wrong building, and then i went to the DMV which is where you DON'T get your license renewed, it's at the DLD, which the closest one is in West Valley. I wasn't too bumbed actually. Then right after my friends took me out to see Sherlock Holmes. Just as good the second time. Now I'm here on the couch waiting for the next party. There will be another on Friday. So tired.
PS i feel bad. My family wanted to go see the lights and asked me if it was OK if we did it tonight. What am i supposed to say? Oh my friends wanted to take me to a bar sorry. Meh oh well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!
Although my Bazinga shirt is quite the best gift i received all day! I LOVE THE BIG BANG THEORY!

Jazz Scrimmage Game

I remember going to a scrimmage Jazz game about 10 years ago when Raul Lopez played for them, and tonight i went back to one. Wow! I now remembered why i loved going to the last one, even though this one trumps the last one. Here's how it went down:
So you have to go a little early if you want a good seat because it's a free game. So i got there at 5 when the game started at 7, there was already people there and i was near the front of the line. I was saving a spot in line for my amigas who were having problems with trax. Soon it was getting near 6 when the doors would open! Luckily i was talking to a girl next to me (who i found out later was in junior high) and we became friends. Her father and i adopted me as their Jazz daughter lol! Well we ran to another door because the workers were saying they were going to open that door. So we booked it over. I was back in about the same spot when her dad told me to come up front with them. Right by the door baby. We made a pact we would just B line it to the closest seats we could find. Well we sure did and we got seats behind the bench. It was a black Friday, so hilarious! Her and I however got seats behind the bench. She was creepin on Hayward, but i was freakin out too because Jeff Hornacek the man that inspired to me to practice my shot was like 20 feet from me. DIED!

Well the blue team won, and it was so much fun. We screamed at Memo and he turned around and waved at me, no joke looking at me and waving. He was laughing knowing so well that we were being such dorks. Then Ty Corbin sat in front of us and turned around and waved at my friends and I. It was a blast! After the game we were all starving. I said good-bye to my Jazz family and my friends and I headed out. As we were heading out we saw a group of people by the parking exit for the Jazz players, and low and behold Jeremy Evans was signing autographs. We ran over and missed him, but other players came by, not signing autographs but would roll down their windows and wave. I think Memo had the funnest time with it. Then a black Honda pulled up. Who was it? LOW AND BEHOLD GORDON HAYWARD! He signed my hat and...
Me: "Gordon you are way too nice to do this, you must be starving and so cold."
Gordon: "meh I don't have anywhere to be."

The end. haha! It was a fantastic night! Can't wait till next year!

Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows.

After a full day of cleaning, planning, and babysitting, i am FINALLY able to sit down and watch Batman: Dark Knight, oh wait, listen to Heather and her friends talk about stupid things because they're overpowering the movies noise. (Turning it up as we speak)

BUT LAST NIGHT! OH MY GOODNESS! SHERLOCK HOLMES BABY! Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows was fantastic! Was it amazing?

It was probably just as good as the first. Robert Downey Jr. was on Live With Kelly and he was talking about how and he was talking about how he hates sequels (then again he made Iron Man 2) but still he was saying that the felt it was better then the first, by just a bit. Robert Downey seems like a pretty straight forward guy so i believed him. Went and saw it at midnight with my sister and brother-in-law and wow I was tired before I got to the theater, but as soon as it started i was enthralled. I'm not gonna give away anything, but just go and see it asap.

PS No one needs to see Stephen Fry naked. You are amazing Stephen, just not the body, but I was thrilled that he was Mycroft!

IN other news, birthday is on Tuesday, seeing Sherlock with some friend again who insisted on taking me to it. Then Christmas lights with the fam, then the REAL party will be on Wednesday. I love it when my friends are willing to make fake Jello shots, and go to a bar maybe. Yay for 21!

THE FINAL THREE DAYS!

Kind of weird that I'll be out of here, well out of LDSBC with an associates degree come Wednesday after my final anthropology test! I mean I'll admit I really didn't like this school at first, i felt so out of place, I was this awkward girl out of high school where I wasn't treated very well. My theater was gone, my freedom from my brother was gone. I didn't feel like an adult and I really just wanted to head to the U ASAP. But now that i have three more days left, I'm very sad. I've had so many experiences being here. I've met the coolest people, had the best teachers. I feel like we're our own little community down here.

I had my first kiss from a boy I met here. (who I really want to kick in the balls)
I now have places to stay in at least 4 different states and countries.
I had the most stressful 4 semesters of math.
Learned how to study the scriptures in a better way.
Sang with an awesome choir and learned that the conductor really is the life of the choir.
Ha learned that people aren't all like annoying high school students.
I can be myself and make friends.
College has taught me a lot. I wonder what things I'll learn at a University. I am very excited to move on with life. I just wish all my friends i made here didn't live out of state so i could still hang with em. Sure i have their numbers, but it's just not the same.
Well thank you LDSBC, we'll see how well you treat me for the next couple days.

Today Is Awesome

I can't think of anything really awesome that has happened recently come to think of it. I've had a lot to think about, but honestly one thing that i would find totally awesome is if someone did this to Matt.
besmel-two: Groucho leaving the building in A Night at the Opera (1935).

Things aren't going to go back to normal so shove it!
Every time he touches me this is exactly how i feel...
So please, don't be offended if i just happen to not make it to your concert on Saturday, you kind of deserve it.
